Welcome to GrowthKing (成长王) ("we," "us," or "our"). GrowthKing is a family education application developed by Tianjin Miaoque Network Technology Co., Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our mobile application and related services.

By downloading or using GrowthKing, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our application.

1Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• Account Information: Phone number, nickname (parent nickname, child nickname), password (stored encrypted), child's grade/age
• Profile Information: Avatar image (optional), family binding information
• Task Content: Task descriptions, completion photos uploaded to verify task completion
• Communication Data: Messages sent within the app between family members, user feedback submitted through the app
• Payment Information: If you subscribe to VIP membership, we collect order information (plan type, amount). We do NOT store full payment card numbers — payments are processed through Alipay and we only receive transaction confirmation.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers
• Usage Data: Features used, tasks created and completed, time spent in the app, crash logs
• Network Information: IP address (used for security and fraud prevention, not stored permanently)

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect precise GPS location
• We do not access your contacts, calendar, or other personal files
• We do not collect microphone or camera data except when you explicitly choose to upload a photo
• We do not use tracking pixels or third-party advertising SDKs

2How We Use Information

3Information Sharing

We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Family Members: Parent and child accounts that are bound within the app share task information, completion status, and in-app messages. This sharing is the core function of the app and is controlled by you.
• Friends: If you add friends within the app, your child's nickname and power rank are visible to friends' accounts.
• Service Providers: We use Tencent Cloud (uniCloud) for backend infrastructure and data storage. Alipay for payment processing. These providers process data strictly on our behalf.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred with appropriate notice.

4Children's Privacy

• Child accounts are created by parents using the parent's phone number — children do not register independently
• Children cannot communicate with strangers — in-app messaging is limited to bound family members and friends approved by parents
• We do not knowingly collect any information from children without verifiable parental consent
• The app contains no advertising content of any kind
• In-app purchases (VIP membership) are controlled by the parent account
• If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child without proper consent, please contact us immediately at miaoqukeji@qq.com and we will promptly delete such information

Parents can contact us at any time to review, modify, or delete their child's information.

5Data Security

• All data transmission between the app and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing — we cannot retrieve your password
• Task completion photos are stored in Tencent Cloud Object Storage with access controls
• We implement access controls to limit who within our company can access user data
• We conduct regular security reviews of our systems

While we implement these security measures, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6Data Retention

• Account data: Retained while your account is active, plus 90 days after account deletion
• Task photos: Retained for 90 days after task review completion, then deleted
• Payment records: Retained for 7 years for legal and accounting compliance
• Feedback and support requests: Retained for 2 years

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting miaoqukeji@qq.com. Legal retention requirements may prevent immediate deletion of certain records.

7Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data (you can also update most information directly in the app)
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data
• Portability: Request export of your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection: Object to certain processing of your data
• Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time

8Third-Party Services

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, or any advertising networks. We do not have third-party tracking.

9Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by:

• Posting a notice in the app before the change takes effect
• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy

Your continued use of GrowthKing after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
